nvu-1.0 programma per pagine web, configurazione

Su consiglio di Escanor ho scaricato il programma nvu, ho fatto i seguenti passaggi:
1. ho scaricato il file
2. sono entrato nella cartella con la console cd... percorso
3.ho scompattato col comando bzip2 etc
4.poi ./configure...ed è qui che non mi va il comando, l'ho lanciato sia nella stessa directory che fuori, anche come root.
Però quando avvio il file nvu dalla suddetta directory il programma mi parte normalmente tanto che lo uso.
L'ho solamente scompattato ma vorrei installarlo.
Un'altra domanda, in quale directory di solito si installano i programmi?
Per esempio, chiedo a qualcuno di voi che ci smanetta un po con linux, se foste stati al mio posto dove lo avreste installato? Nel mio pc per esempiola cartella si trova in home/miocomputer/download... ma vorrei essere più ordinato

If you want to build Nvu from the source, please following these directions.

1. First read and follow the build instructions for your platform. If you want to build on Windows, make sure to download bzip2 with Cygwin.
2. Get the sources and save them on your disk
3. Uncompress-untar the sources

tar xfj nvu-1.0-sources.tar.bz2

This creates a directory called mozilla
4. Go into the directory mozilla/composer/config , grab your preferred mozconfig.* file and copy it to mozilla/.mozconfig (dot mozconfig in the top mozilla directory). Edit that file according to your wishes and system configuration. Warning: the mozilla/composer/config also contains a compressed patch against the Firefox 1.0 source tree: you don't have to apply that patch to the source tarball linked above, it's already in.
5. Build the code.

make -f client.mk build_all
6. After the build, there is in the mozilla/dist/bin (Linux) or mozilla\dist\bin (Windows) directory a file called nvu or nvu.exe. Just run it to start Nvu. On Mac, just double-click on mozilla/dist/Nvu.app. Don't forget to look at the Tips and Hints section at the bottom of this page.

Se sei ubuntu puoi provare

Per installare Kompozer digitate il seguente comando nel Terminale :
wget -c internap.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/kompozer/kompozer-077-...
e
tar -xvzf kompozer-077-i686.tgz
e
sudo mv kompozer /opt/
e
sudo ln -s /opt/kompozer/kompozer /usr/bin/kompozer


Dopo avere completato quanto sopra digitate :
kompozer
nel Terminale per avviare Kompozer.
