    Hi PhoenixRising,

Yes it must be wonderful living there. But it's also nice just going there for a holiday. Here are two photos of my hometown Viersen.

    What a gorgeous place!

Here are some pics of where I live in El Cajon:

LOL, I don't exactly know where those places are, but hopefully they can give you a small taste of the city. [SM=g27817]

It looks lovely - and sunny!

We often know wonderful places everywhere in the world but you don't know your hometown. We probably don't even see something beautiful if it is nextdoor.

This is where I spend my next holiday.....Mallorca

That place reminds me of downtown San Diego, they have a lot of boats like that. Do you like to sail? I've never been on a boat, but I like walking on the beach.

If my family goes ever goes on a vacation, the only place they would go to is Las Vegas.

No, I don't know how to sail - I am mor the glassbottom-boat type! [SM=g27828]

But I love walking along the beach especially early in the morning when the sun rises.

So, have you been to Las Vegas, what is it like?

Actually, I lived there from when I was 10 up til when I was 18. I think it's ok to visit, but I didn't like living there.

Ada, all those gorgeous pics your posting is making me want to go out and buy a bikini. [SM=g27824] [SM=g27824] Bora Bora, WOW!

    Phoenix,
Las Vegas is very popular in Germany, people to there to get married in one of these little chapels......I'm sure it is great for a trip. They must have super hotels, I reckon.

    ada,
I just thought it looks like a very romantic place. Can you also go shopping there? [SM=g27827]:

This is where I went two years ago - Mittenwald in Bavaria

On the second photo you can see the "Lüftlmaleria" --which is typical for the buildings in Bavaria.

oh I am sure u can go shopping in the tropical islands .
Germany is a beautiful country,I only went there once in and around Munchen.
I must say I do prefer Austria but that might be mostly 'cause I've been there several times. [SM=g27828]

Mittenwald looks so STUNNING!!! [SM=g27836] I've never really seen snow in person.

LOL, Las Vegas has drive-through wedding chapels [SM=g27820]:

Las Vegas has good restaraunts and buffets. The themed hotels can be pretty nice too. If you're a fan of Celine Dion, she has a show at Caesar's Palace that runs up til the end of December this year. The Venetian now has the Phantom of the Opera stage musical there. My good friend Tiffany has seen it and I'm seething with envy. (Tiffany lives in Vegas) [SM=g27813]

    Caesar's Palace

    The Venetian

It would be so refreshing to travel and see new sights. *dreams*

    Ada, you're such a tropical person. [SM=g27828]
